Spring State is the culminating event of the school-year experiences for chapters in each JSA state. Participate in debates, thought talks, and activism initiatives that provide a venue for students to explore important political topics and current events in a structured, respectful space.

Spring State is also the resolution of JSA’s election cycle, where students in each JSA state will announce the student leaders elected at every level for the coming year.

Who Should Attend?

All JSA members are encouraged to attend the Spring State event near them. In addition, any high school student interested in becoming more civically engaged can attend any of our virtual experiences. A Teacher Advisor (or school-approved adult chaperone) must accompany a JSA Chapter to the in-person portion of hybrid events.

*Scholarships are available for participants in need.

Key Takeaways
  • Meet newly elected JSA student leaders
