At Fall State, JSA chapters from across your state come together to collaborate, debate, engage in civic activities, socialize, and fundraise. You’ll meet students from across the political spectrum, with diverse life experiences and opinions outside of your own. By meeting with peers outside your local area, you’ll come to understand different perspectives—learning how to collaborate with open-mindedness, debate with respect and fairness, and arrive at practical solutions together.

Fall State is guided by a theme selected by our national student Council of Governors. The 2022 theme is, Youth at the Forefront: Pivoting Toward Progress. Activism has taken on a new meaning, with social media equipping young voices with a platform to stand firmly by movements that they believe in. Student-led initiatives like JSA hold the core imperative of maximizing the tools we have at our fingertips to make unprecedented impacts on our various communities. We are invigorated by fresh and passionate perspectives, and as a generation, we truly have the power to make the changes we want to see, encourage growth, and pivot towards progress.
