Atharv P.

Atharv P. is a member of the Junior State of America’s (JSA) Council of Governors. He represents the JSA Mid-Atlantic region and is a senior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North. As the JSA MAS Governor, Atharv is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, planning conferences, and working with other Elected Officials and cabinet to ensure that various opportunities are offered to everyone in the largest region of JSA.

Atharv has been an active JSA member of his high school chapter since 2021. He joined JSA because of his interest in debate and civic engagement. During his time at JSA, Atharv has held several roles serving as a Chapter Internal Affairs Agent and Director of Chapter Internal Affairs. He has been recognized with Best Speaker Gavels as well as the MAS Statesmen of the Year in 2023.

Outside of JSA, Atharv is actively involved in fencing for his school’s varsity team and participating in Future Problem Solvers. He is passionate about making a difference in educational and public speaking opportunities because of the lack of resources in underprivileged areas across the world. Atharv looks forward to attending college and earning a degree in a Finance/Mathematical major.
