2023 JSA Spring Gala

The evening will feature UCLA Professor Lynn Vavreck discussing her recent book, The Bitter End: The 2020 Presidential Campaign and the Challenge to American Democracy. All attendees will get a signed copy of Prof. Vavreck's Book.

All proceeds benefit JSA's mission to prepare a diverse community of America's high school students to participate in our democracy.

About Professor Lynn Vavreck
Professor Lynn Vavreck is the Marvin Hoffenberg Professor of American Politics and Public Policy at UCLA and a regular contributor to The Upshot at the New York Times. She has authored several books, including her most recent title (with John Sides and Chris Tausanovitch), The Bitter End: The 2020 Presidential Campaign and the Challenge to American Democracy. Professor Vavreck holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Rochester and has previously worked at Princeton University, Dartmouth College, and The White House. Read her full bio.
