Doug Wertheimer

Doug Wertheimer has been a partner at Industry Capital since 2004. Industry Capital is a San Francisco based private equity firm focused on real assets globally. Prior to Industry Capital, Doug spent 10+ years as an entrepreneur, instrumental in starting several companies in industries ranging from new media technology to television production, and electronic payments to consumer wellness products. Notably, Doug was a member of the founding management team of pioneering electronic payments company, Size Technologies, acquired by First Data Corporation in 2006. Doug was also a Principal with Mark Burnett Productions, creators and producers of the original reality TV franchises "Survivor" and "Eco-Challenge".

Doug has an AB from Princeton University and a JD from UCLA School of Law. In high school, Doug was an active member of the JSA Chapter at Palisades High School in Los Angeles, serving on a number of regional cabinet positions. He attended JSA’s UC Davis summer program in 1981. Doug resides in San Francisco with his wife, Beth Mitchner. They have three sons, Nathan, Samuel and Benny.
