Established in 1934, Junior State of America (JSA) is a 501(c)(3) non-partisan youth organization with more than 300 chapters across 25 states and seven U.S. territories. JSA, a student-led organization, prepares a diverse community of high school students to participate effectively in our democracy. We offer hands-on civic programs designed to activate the talents of young people, instill values of respect and understanding, and inspire them to be a new generation of American leaders. JSA, FIRE Partner to Launch Free Speech Summer Program for Pre-College Students

JSA and the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), the nation’s leading pro-free speech organization, joined forces to launch FIRE’s Free Speech Leadership Summit, a week-long summer program designed to help pre-college students explore free speech and how it leads to a free society.
