Find out how to raise funds to pay for Junior Statesmen Summer School.
I have only one regret which is me and my daughter did not raise the money in time before the program was full. We found out her scholarship amount on Friday and began to write letters only to be devastated to hear are efforts were useless because the program was full before a week had even passed. We had unique circumstances because I took a six month leave of absence to complete my teaching degree to make a better life for my eight children and I had already borrowed from most of the family to support us while I obtained my degree. I hope once I am established to find ways to help raise funds so students will be able to attend the JSA where the cost is not a deciding factor of them being able to secure a space. I currently work in education and hope that I can convince other educators to support the JSA. I really enjoyed watching such an inspirational video of how some students fund raised. I am impressed with the testimony of how students to initiative in raising funds to pay for JSA summer school.I hope by watching this video early on others will be inspired and able to raise the funds to attend the summer program.
