JSA Alumna Overcomes Challenges to Graduate from Howard University

Britany Wilson was recently profiled in the Washington Post. “During high school, Wilson came to Georgetown University with the Junior State of America program. After that, ‘I wanted to be the great lawyer-politician,’ Wilson said.”

Britany Wilson returned to Washington, D.C. for college largely because of her experiences at the JSA Summer Program.  Wilson was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 18 months old and became and advocate and a voice for the rights of the disabled on the campus of Howard University.
