Chapter Presidents and Teacher/Advisors: Take the first step in registering a delegation for Congress now by adding the names of your student delegation leader and main teacher/advisor to your chapter’s event registration. You can do this now and then add delegates at a later date. 
If you have My Chapter access, you should see a group registration item for your chapter under My Events. It will have a title like “2012 Winter Congress – Lincoln H.S.” Click on the link, and select your student delegation leader and primary attending teacher or chaperone.
Please do this now, as this allows us to plan for your attendance. If you have a My Chapter tab but you do not see an event for your chapter for the 2012 Congress convention under My Events, contact the JSA office and we will create one for you under your account.
REQUEST MORE CONVENTION BROCHURES
Please contact the JSA offices to request more convention postcards and/or brochures to distribute to interested students, teachers and school administrators. You can request these materials online HERE. or by calling (800) 317-9338 on the East Coast or (800) 334-5353 on the West Coast. Make sure that important school faculty members and administrators get a copy even if they will not be accompanying the delegation. Your school’s Social Studies Department Chair, Government teacher and even district Social Studies Coordinator and Superintendent should receive a copy of the convention brochure so they know about this worthwhile educational opportunity.
