Chief of staff to Calif. Assemblyman Curt Hagman (R-Chino Hills), Mike Spence is also president of the California Republican Assembly, an organization praised by Ronald Reagan as, “the conscience of the Republican Party.” He is also a partner in Citadel Campaigns and has served as a governing board member on the West Covinia Unified School District since 1991 (serving as board president four times).
A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Spence served as a General Representative in 1988-89 on the UCLA Undergraduate Student Association Council
He served as Angeles Region political director under the leadership of then AR Mayor Vince Farhat. He attended the 1982 Junior Statesmen Summer School session at U.C. Davis.
